- Xiaomi launched the selfie-centric Redmi Y1 and Y1 Lite in India previous year, and the new Redmi S2 seems to be a gradual extension of that series because it's also a selfie-centric phone that's light on the pocket.
One of the key highlights of the smartphone is its front camera sensor. The S in its name probably stands for "Selfie".
Redmi smartphones are all about best features at a very affordable cost.
The smartphone has a 5.99-inch display with 18:9 aspect ratio, 1440 x 720 pixel resolution, and, rounded corners.
