We'll continue to hear more rumors and reports about the upcoming flagship handsets until that happens.

A Chinese tipster, citing a company insider, has claimed on social media site Weibo that the generic Galaxy S9 will be offered in two options - 4GB RAM+64GB storage and 4GB RAM+128GB storage. The device will come in-display fingerprint sensors developed by Synaptics and improve on the Infinity Display with much thinner bezels. Earlier, there were speculations that the company would add the technology in the Galaxy S8 or Note 8.

Other features such as a heart-rate sensor besides the camera module, wireless fast charging, water and dust resistance and USB Type C-port are expected on the Galaxy S9 duo. Samsung has in the past introduced higher RAM and storage variants for the Galaxy S8 Plus and Note 8 as well, so it might do the same with the Galaxy S9 series. Talking about the On-screen navigational buttons; this time too they retained the same design. These flagship models will be available in all major markets.

He said UX was the biggest obstacle in commercialization and added that the company was aggressively looking to overcome the issue. The chipset will come with onboard AI, and support 3D facial recognition for biometric authentication to take on Apple iPhone X's Face ID feature.

Samsung Galaxy S9 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor in the US, while in India and other international markets, it will come with the company's own Exynos 9810 processor. Last year he told reporters in South Korea that the company was targeting a launch this year. A hybrid microSD card slot for further expansion is also likely to be in tow.
