"That in itself is reason to purchase the book". And I think more and more people are starting to see that his facts just simply don't add up.

The 64-year-old built his four-decade career writing about some of the world's rich and powerful people in seven books and across a wide range of newspapers and magazines.

The Windham resident offered his first comments on the book and its author, Michael Wolff, in an exclusive interview with WMUR.

On Thursday, however, White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders suggested from the briefing room podium that the website should consider ousting Bannon. Questions have arose regarding the truthfulness in Wolff's past pieces of work from both his subjects and those who have read his books.

And, even in defending Trump, the former ExxonMobil chief executive admitted he has had to learn how to relay information to a president with a very different decision-making style.

Former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon was reportedly warned to stop blasting senior adviser Jared Kushner or risk being blasted by Trump.

Fire and Fury, an explosive book written by Michael Wolff has hit the shelves.

"In a dispute over truth, I'm probably going to believe the author", he said. Colbert joked. "I agree with Steve Bannon?". "As soon as stores receive their shipment, customers will be able to purchase it".

"Luckily, the president tweets often, so he's done a lot of publicity for a book that does not give a good picture of him, but we quickly realized in recent days that we needed to get as many copies as we could", said the delighted the head of a bookstore in New York.

"Full of lies, misrepresentations and sources that don't exist", the tweet said.

They're "desperate attempts" to attack Trump, she said.

Presidential scholar Dan Mahaffee of Washington's Center for the Study of the Presidency and Congress says the book controversy is taking on a cartoon-like character. The publisher instead moved up the release date to Friday.

But Lewandowski said that for the "true story", about the Trump campaign, the transition into the White House and afterward, "pick up my book", entitled, "Let Trump Be Trump", which was released a month ago.

A controversial book on Donald Trump's first year in office has sold out in US bookshops following its early release.

It already has cost him a key backer.

But, as a result of this book coming out, according to a new report by Axios who spoke with members of the Trump administration, no fewer than six current aids to Donald Trump, high level staffers are planning their immediate exit because they are fearful about what they call the next stage of the Trump presidency and it all ties back to this book by Michael Wolff.
