The project aims at bringing low-tier smartphones with excellent performance, as the normal Operating System would bring a hard time in running the apps and background processes to the low-specced devices. These images show the back of the phone in a matte gray finish.
2017 saw Nokia making a huge comeback in the smartphone industry as the year saw the iconic brand launching a number of new devices and all of them managed to sell well.
In addition, the Nokia 6 (2018) comes with 4GB LPDDR4 RAM, 32/64GB of internal storage expandable via a microSD card (of up to 128GB) anda 3,000mAh battery with fast charging support. As is the case with every leak, one just cannot trust the information blindly so this one should also be taken with a pinch of salt.
While the Leica-branded camera in Huawei's Mate 10 Pro has tied it with the iPhone X in second place among the DxOMark charts, the Zeiss-infused snapper in the Nokia 8 fares much worse, with a score of 68. Nothing else is known regarding the specs and features. Nokia is not the only company Google seems to be working with. There is an 8MP sensor on the front with a 84 degree wide-angle lens and an aperture of f/2.0. It's possible HMD Global is testing 2 or more prototypes of the device and hasn't settled on a final design yet.
HMD Global claims that the Nokia 6's two microphones allow for the capture of high-fidelity spatial audio. Now HMD Global is said to unveil the phone at the annual Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in February. There is no word about the camera now, but we may get a similar setup to that of the Nokia 2.
