Axios reported that one ally to both Bannon and Trump relayed a White House message that the former chief strategist needed to "knock it the f-- off". Twitter, on the other hand, is mercilessly mocking the president over his latest "epic tantrum" saying his rants only "make the book seem plausible".

"Suddenly everywhere people are going, 'Oh my God, it's true, he has no clothes'".

"He demands a kind of loyalty of people which is inappropriate within a White House and, of course, he doesn't give loyalty back to anybody else", he bluntly stated. "He used Sloppy Steve Bannon, who cried when he got fired and begged for his job". Tillerson has made several statements that contradict Trump's policies, including defending the Iran nuclear deal and refusing to take the side of Saudi Arabia against Qatar in the Gulf crisis.

"They all say he is like a child", he said. You can pre-order the audio-book version for a similar price, but it won't be available until Jan. 9. "And it all depends on his need for immediate gratification". Breitbart is bankrolled in part by Rebekah Mercer, a wealthy conservative donor who said Thursday she is severing ties with Bannon.

The book was scheduled to hit stores next Tuesday, but the publisher moved up the release after receiving a cease-and-desist letter from President Trump's attorney.

In an interview with CNN, Mr Tillerson said: "I've never questioned his mental fitness".

Wolff went on to say that he has recordings of some of those conversations. So far, Wolff has stood by his reporting. Trump said on Twitter that it is full of "lies, misrepresentations and sources that don't exist". "Too bad!" the president tweeted Saturday.

"Fire and Fury" chronicles the first nine months of the Trump White House, painting a dysfunctional atmosphere.

His "window" into Trump is pretty significant, he told Savannah Guthrie. Steven Bercu, CEO and Co-owner of BookPeople said more than 100 people have placed book reservations for the new shipment Monday.

".Actually, throughout my life, my two greatest assets have been mental stability and being, like, really smart", the President wrote.

Sanders said that Bannon met on "multiple occasions" with Michael Wolff, author of "Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House".
