RB Leipzig sporting director, Ralph Ragnick has rejected the talk of Werner joining Real Madrid anytime soon!

Reports claimed that Real were set to launch a bid in either in the January transfer window or next summer, but Rangnick has made it clear the talented youngster is not for sale.

Werner has been one of the stars of Leipzig's rapid rise to Bundesliga prominence, scoring 28 goals in 42 league appearances since joining from Stuttgart in June last year.

"Of course I have to honestly admit that I might have gone to Bayern if they had knocked on the door before RB Leipzig", Werner told Welt am Sonntag.

But the 21-year-old's prolific form for club and country is apparently undermined in the eyes of the Spanish giants due to a physical issue.

But Rangnick said: "In winter nor in summer: We will keep Timo Werner with us".

During Leipzig's Champions League clash with Besiktas, he had to be substituted because the noise inside the Vodafone Arena was so loud that he found it painful for his ears and felt dizzy.

Werner has seen the heights of fame following his remarkable performances for Leipzig. Werner is a forward player who has the capability to play out wide. "These are things I do not take seriously", Ragnick added while talking about the reports in Spanish media.

Also, Werner finished the last season of Bundesliga with an impressive goal tally, rocketing his club to the position of runners-up.
