The games can be downloaded and played as often as you like, as long as you remain a member.

Those thinking of finally stepping into the world of VR will be able to get PlayStation VR bundles for R1000.00 less than the recommended retail price.

Called the PlayStation Plus Open Multiplayer Event, it enables all PS4 and PS4 Pro owners to make the most of games, such as Call of Duty: WWII and Gran Turismo, without additional charges. There will be an assortment of game deals too of course.

The event will run from 10am GMT on November 15 and end at the same time on November 20. This is the perfect time to pick up a PS4 as a gift for the special gamer in your life, or as a treat for yourself. This bundle includes a 500 GB PlayStation 4 as well as DriveClub, Horizon Zero Dawn, and Ratchet and Clank.

For PlayStation 4, the standard slim 1TB system in Jet Black will be available at $199.99 USD. And with Star Wars Battlefront 2 being released on Friday 17 November, gamers can play its online modes throughout the weekend regardless of whether they have PS Plus membership or not.

While you won't see any chaos on the same level as the madness shown at North American Black Friday sales that our local retailers have copied with staggering 5% off discounts, you can expect to still see some hefty savings on the video game front.
