Reports from Spanish media sources claim that Ronaldo has decided to leave the Santiago Bernabeu outfit at the end of the season.

The 32-year-old is said to be angered by the deal on the table and believes he should be allowed to leave Madrid for a reasonable price. While it is pretty obvious for the world's best club to save their talisman from a possible move away, Real Madrid are expected to walk on a tight rope for some time as the 12-time European champions are expected to do everything to stop Ronaldo from leaving.

As a result, the Real Madrid superstar now has five Goal 50 awards, moving him one clear of Messi, who last lifted the trophy in 2015.

However, he insisted he was happy at the club.

Meanwhile, Spanish football journalist Edu Aguirre who works for Spanish TV station El Chiringuito reports that Ronaldo has informed club president Florentino Perez of his decision. Ronaldo said,"I don't want to renew". I don't want to renew.

Head coach Zinedine Zidane sees his side eight points off league leaders Barcelona and could risk going further behind if they fail to overcome rivals Atletico Madrid.

Cristiano Ronaldo has struggled for form all season, managing just one goal in La Liga so far.
