Thanks to IP68 certification, the Moto X4 also offers basic dust and water resistant capabilities. As per the certification agency it says these are live ones that went through it's testing.
Motorola's Z line of smartphones has been getting plenty of love from the Lenovo subsidiary, but the X-line has not seen a new addition since 2015.
The curves seem a little less pronounced than a month or so ago, and the dual-LED flash is positioned differently in relation to the phone's dual rear-facing camera setup.
Motorola has been releasing a bunch of phones this year but the device many have arguably been waiting for, is a new addition to the Moto X range.
The Moto X4 screen is IPS-matrix with a diagonal of 5.5 inches and Full HD resolution, and it is closed by glass Gorilla glass.
The selfie cam is a 16 MP unit with f/2.0 aperture and 1.0µm pixel size, which will support 4K video recording at 30fps and 1080p at 60fps. In Europe, North America and Latin America, the handset will come with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage, while in the Asia Pacific region, the Moto X4 will come with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage.
As for the chipset at the helm, this will be Qualcomm's Snapdragon 630.
Other extra features include a fingerprint scanner on the front and Motorola specifics such as the Moto Actions, Moto Display and Moto Voice.
Moto X4 has recently been spotted in a flurry of leaks including the latest FCC listing.
It will be a combination of a 12 MP sensor with dual autofocus, f/2.0 aperture and 1.4µm pixel size and an 8 MP ultra-wide sensor with f/2.2 aperture, 1.12µm pixel size and 120-degree field of view.
The smartphone has 3000 mAH battery which is quite powerful as well as turbocharge feature.
