In April 2015, he was removed of his title after he fled the scene of a car accident which broke the arm of a pregnant woman.

Jones (23-1) completed his rocky journey back to the top after a yearlong suspension with his 14th consecutive victory. But it's clear that these two are interested in squaring off against one another.

"Brock Lesnar, if you want to know what it feels like to get your ass kicked by a guy that weighs 40 pounds less than you, come meet me in the octagon", Jones said, via Simon Samano of

Speaking at a press conference after his fight, Jones spoke about why he decided to call out Brock Lesnar.

And the 30-year-old, who will now hope to put a hit-and-run incident and failed drugs test behind him, promptly picked his next opponent. He thought the fight was stopped early by veteran referee "Big" John McCarthy, but the replay of the finish didn't lie.

He stated: "Congratulations to Jon Jones and his team". It was a black mark in Lesnar's combat sports career and led to him announcing his retirement from mixed martial arts. Jones thanked Cormier for being his greatest rival and biggest motivator before calling him a model husband, father, teammate and leader, and claiming that he aspires to be like him.

"As long as you never quit, it's never over".

"I guess if you win both fights there is no rivalry", Cormier said.

Woodley was able to avoid takedown attempt after takedown attempt from Maia, and stayed patient in picking when to strike to claim a unanimous decision.

Jones and Lesnar have had a bit of a back and forth in the media over the past week.

'Cyborg' hasn't lost since her pro MMA debut in May 2005 and previously held belts in Strikeforce and Invicta FC. While the move made sense on some levels-it was Johnson's second loss to the champion-it left a huge void in the UFC's light heavyweight division.

Is it possible that fight fans will one day be seeing a UFC "superfight" between Brock Lesnar and Jon Jones?
