Yes, Dani Alves is in Paris to sign on for PSG.

Alves was largely expected to join Pep Guardiola at Manchester City after playing for him for a number of years with one of his former clubs, Barcelona.

Alves was widely expected to join City after leaving Juventus but the experienced right-back instead decided to make the switch to PSG, where he will be seeking to add to his already sizeable trophy haul.

His single campaign in Turin was interrupted by a broken leg suffered last November but he returned to help the club to a Serie A and Coppa Italia double and reach the Champions League final.

Henrique and Maxwell deserve immense credit for getting this deal done and it represents a moment of maturity for the club as it continues to become better structured and serious about its own project once again under Henrique.

Speaking at a press conference, Alves said: "If Pep Guardiola and Manchester City feel hurt, I am sorry..."

Prior to his sole campaign at Juve, Alves had previously spent eight successful seasons with Barcelona, winning La Liga six times and the Champions League on three occasions.

Concealed within the apology, however, was a thinly-veiled dig in which the Brazilian suggested that Man City were not capable of being 'champions'.

Manchester United is closing in on the signing of Inter Milan star Ivan Perisic for $57.9 million, according to The Guardian.

Ladbrokes' Richard Marsh told us: "As far as pep Guardiola and Man City full-backs are concerned this summer, it's a revolving door".

So, this leaves Atletico Madrid with the madcap TRANSFER TRACKER story of the day.

The decision to pick PSG over European rivals came after Dani Alves wed Spanish model Joana Sanz in Ibiza last weekend.

However, given Atleti are unable to register new players until 2018, Vitolo will be forced to play the first half of the upcoming campaign on loan at fellow La Liga outfit Las Palmas.
